● 大拇指 thumb
大拇指就是thumb，它也和其他的字組成了一些片語唷！來看看吧~
1. give 人/事 the thumbs up 贊同
The boss gave her new idea the thumbs up. 老闆非常贊同她的新點子
2. under 人’s thumb 受某人支配
Remember to keep your dog under your thumb. 記得要控制好你的小狗
3. thumb through 快速翻閱
I thumbed through a few pages of the textbook before the test. 我在考試前快速翻了一下課本
● 食指 forefinger/index finger/first finger
index是指引、指標的意思，我們常常用食指來指東西，因此就有index finger的說法囉
● 中指 middle finger
● 無名指 ring finger
無名指是用來戴結婚戒指的手指，因此就叫作ring finger
