皇族與貴族的勳銜（peerages)共分五大級，其名稱與它們的相對女性稱謂如下：
公爵Duke(Duchess)
Duke of York 約克公爵
侯爵Marquis(Marchioness)
the Marquis of Blandford
布蘭福德侯爵
伯爵Earl(Countess)
Earl Grey 伯爵茶
子爵Viscount(Viscountess)
A viscount is the fourth rank in the British peerage system, standing below an earl and above a baron.
子爵是英國爵位中排名第四位，在伯爵之下男爵之上。
