搖滾區、黃牛票的英文是什麼呢？

Bob 最愛的歌手就要來台北開演唱會了，他決心這次一定要搶到票！就在他預備搶票的同時，他的好友 Sofia 正好找他聊天。
Sofia: Bob, what are you doing?
Sofia：Bob，你在幹嘛？
Bob: My favorite singer is coming to Taipei Arena! I’m determined to get a ticket this time around! When he came to Taipei two years ago, all the tickets were snapped up within 15 minutes of going on sale.
Bob：我最愛的歌手要來台北小巨蛋了！我這次一定要買到他的票！他兩年前來台北時，所有票在開賣的頭十五分鐘就售光了！
Sofia: No wonder you keep staring at your laptop. Which singer is it again?
Sofia：難怪你一直盯著你的筆電。那是哪個歌手來著？
Bob: Rock Jones!
Bob：搖滾瓊斯！
Sofia: Is he a rock singer?
Sofia：是搖滾歌手嗎？
Bob: The best rock singer of our time! I’m a diehard fan!
Bob：我們那個時代最好的搖滾歌手！我是他的死忠粉絲！
Sofia: I wonder if “Rock Jones” is his real name… maybe he was born “Jazz Smith.”
Sofia：我很好奇「搖滾瓊斯」是他的真名嗎？或許他本名是叫「爵士史密斯」。
死忠粉絲 Bob 會搶票成功嗎？等等！看下去前先跟小 V 複習單字吧！
arena (n.) 劇場
大家熟知的「台北小巨蛋」英文就是 Taipei Arena，其中 arena 指的是「(體育) 場地；劇場」。
Two gladiators fought to the death in the arena.
兩名角鬥士在賽場內鬥得你死我活。
snap up (phr.) 搶購
動詞 snap 可指「突然硬聲折斷；一口氣拍 (許多照片)」，帶有「快速；突然」的意味，而 snap up 就可以衍伸成「搶購」的意思。
The branch snapped under Tommy’s weight.
樹枝在 Tommy 的體重壓力下突然硬聲折斷。Henry is snapping photos of his beloved girlfriend.
Henry 正在給他親愛的女友瘋狂拍照。My mother snapped up all the turnips in the market and made dozens of turnip cakes.
我媽媽將市場所有的白蘿蔔搶購一空，做了幾十個蘿蔔糕。
a diehard fan (of sth.) / a (sth.) diehard (n.) (…的) 死忠粉絲
名詞 diehard 其實本指「頑固的人」；diehard fan 表面看來是「頑固的粉絲」，意思其實是指「死忠粉絲；鐵粉」。
I have a friend who is a diehard fan of Arashi and has all their albums.
我有個朋友是嵐的鐵粉，她有他們所有的專輯。He’s a footballing diehard. For him, nothing in life matters more.
他很喜歡踢足球。對他來說沒有其他事情比踢足球更重要。
等等，Bob 的搶票挑戰開始啦！
Bob: Very funny Sofia. I think you should show a legend like Rock Jones a little more respect. Hey!!! The tickets are on sale now!! (furiously clicking on his laptop)
Bob：很好笑吼。我覺得你應該要對像搖滾瓊斯這樣的傳奇人物多一點尊敬。嘿！！！票開賣了！！(瘋狂點選)
(A few seconds later)
(幾秒後)
Sofia: Did you get them?
Sofia：你買到了嗎？
Bob: YES!!!!
Bob：買到啦！！！！
Sofia: Congratulations! What section are you in?
Sofia：恭喜！你的票是哪一區的？
Bob: GA floor section. I can’t wait to rock!
Bob：搖滾區。我等不及搖滾了！
Sofia: Don’t forget to take some glow sticks with you.
Sofia：那你一定要帶上一些螢光棒。
Bob: Of course! Though nowadays most people use smartphones as “glow sticks.” I prefer the old way. (sigh) I’m so glad that I’ve got the ticket this time; otherwise I’d have to turn to those scalpers.
Bob：當然！雖然現在大多數人用智慧型手機代替螢光棒，我還是偏愛老方法。(嘆氣) 我好開心這次有買到票，不然我就要去跟黃牛買了。
Sofia: Yeah, and buying from a scalper is always much more expensive.
Sofia：是啊，而且黃牛票貴得多了。
GA floor section (n.) 搖滾區
GA 為 general admission 的縮寫，字面意思是「普通入場」，意思是「不分區一般票」。floor section 指的是「站立區域」，GA floor section 指的其實也就是距離舞台最近、可以站著一起嗨的「搖滾區」！
The GA floor section of Rock Jones’s concert is estimated to hold 6,000 people.
搖滾瓊斯的演唱會搖滾區預計將容納六千人次。
glow stick (n.) 螢光棒
glow 意指「發光；發熱」，stick 則是「條狀物」，因此螢光棒的英文就是 glow stick。glow 也可以當做名詞，意思是「亮光；火光」。
Fireflies glow in the dark.
螢火蟲在漆黑中發光。Her face was lit up by the glow of the bonfire.
她的面容在篝火亮光下顯得和緩。
scalper (n.) 賣黃牛票者
scalper 的意思就是「賣黃牛票者」，指的是以非官方價格倒賣票的人，而賣黃牛票的行為稱為 scalp。補充：英式用語為 tout。
Buying from a ticket scalper is normally much more expensive compared to buying direct.
買黃牛票通常會比一般直接購買貴上許多。
Tommy was caught scalping tickets at the movie theater.
Tommy 被抓包在戲院賣黃牛票。
