威廉斯,”the most beautiful human being”

“Seize the day. Gather ye rosebuds while ye may. Because, believe it or not, each and every one of us in this room is one day gonna stop breathing, turn cold, and die.”
- Dead Poets Society 《

Good Morning, Vietnam 《

Dead Poets Society《

No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world.

Why do I stand here? To feel taller than you? I stand on my desk to remind myself that we must constantly force ourselves to look at things in a different way. The world looks different from up here. If you don’t believe it, stand up here and try it.

Mrs. Doubtfire 《

Ever wish you could freeze frame a moment in your day, and look at it and say “this is not my life”?

Jumanji《

I remember watching this as a little kid.

Good Will Hunting《

You’re not perfect,  and let me save you the suspense: this girl you’ve met, she’s not perfect either. But the question is whether or not you’re perfect for each other.

Night at the Museum《
The Crazy Ones《

President Obama On Robin Williams Death

Robin Williams was an airman, a doctor, a genie, a nanny, a president, a professor, a bangarang Peter Pan, and everything in between. But he was one of a kind. He arrived in our lives as an alien – but he ended up touching every element of the human spirit. He made us laugh. He made us cry. He gave his immeasurable talent freely and generously to those who needed it most – from our troops stationed abroad to the marginalized on our own streets.

This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken.

Robin Williams 曾說

I want to thank my father, the man who when I said I want to be an actor, he said, “Wonderful. Just have a back-up profession like welding!”

Seize the day. Gather ye rosebuds while ye may. Why does the writer use these lines? ….Because we are food for worms, lads. Because, believe it or not, each and every one of us in this room is one day gonna stop breathing, turn cold, and die.
from Dead Poets Society(1989)
