這句話可不是指扯後腿！扯後腿是 hold somebody back，pull sombody’s leg 則是欺騙某人

想想早上起床如果落枕是多不舒服的事！所以 pain in the neck 指的就是燙手山竽、難搞的人或事情，就像如鯁在喉。
Completing this tax form is a real pain in the neck, there are so many boxes to fill in.
完成稅單真是難搞的麻煩事，有很多表格要填寫。
to lie through your teeth
這個片語就是指說謊，完完全全在騙人的意思。
They promised we’d get free drinks every day at our hotel but they were lying through their teeth. We had to pay for it!
他們承諾我們住房期間都有免費的飲料可喝，但那根本是騙人的，我們得自己付費！
That’ll put hairs on your chest!
雖然長胸毛聽起來很可怕，但這句的意思其實是吃某樣東西對你很好、很有幫助的意思！
