我整個早上都在公園裡悠哉閒逛。I hanged around with my girlfriend all weekend.
我這個週末都陪伴在女朋友身邊。
lonely / isolated (adj.) 孤單的
lone 這個字原本就是孤單、一個人的意思，因此長得很像的 alone 和 lonely 也是同樣的意思喔！而歌詞中唱到的 isolation，則是表示「孤單的狀態」的名詞用法。
I feel empty, lonely, and chilly.
我空虛寂寞覺得冷。
having a cloud inside my head vs. having my head in the clouds
But there is a heavy cloud inside my head. 在歌曲中「腦袋裡有片烏雲」指的就是「腦子裡一片混亂」的意思。而另一個片語 having head in the clouds 則有「身處五里霧中，看不清東西南北」、或「眼高手低、不切實際」的意思，雖然看起來很像，不過仔細想一想就會發現好像真的不太一樣耶！
I don’t want to think about this now cuz there’s a heavy cloud inside my head.
我現在不想考慮這些，因為我腦子裡一團混亂。I have my head in the clouds, not knowing what to do.
我搞不清楚狀況是怎樣，現在要幹嘛？

breeze (n.) 微風、輕鬆簡單的事
breeze 除了常見的微風的意思之外，也可以用來形容一件易如反掌的事，而在當動詞使用時更不只可以當作「吹起微風」，還能表示「如風一般輕飄飄的走」喔～
The summer breeze gently touches my face.
夏日微風輕拂。Teaching is totally not a breeze.
教書完全不是一件簡單的事。She breezes into the office.
她輕飄飄地走進了辦公室。
country (n.) 國家 / [the] 全體國民 / [the] 鄉下
當 country 前面出現定冠詞 the，這時它的意思就可能變成鄉下或是指全國的人民，而非原本國家的意思，然後就可以依照前後文來找出這個字到底代表什麼了。country 在當形容詞使用時也可以指「鄉下的、有鄉村風味的」。
I love my country.
我熱愛我的國家The country was touched by the moving story.
全國人民對這個感人的故事都為之動容。We live in the country side, distant from the city.
我們住在離城市有段距離的鄉下。
remind someone of sth 提醒、使…想起
The picture reminds me of an old memory.
這張照片喚醒了我遠久的記憶。

whistle (n.) 口哨、哨子 / (v.) 吹口哨
除了口哨、吹口哨外，whistle 還可以當作「用吹口哨來召喚….」，像這樣
The boy whistled his dog back.
小男孩吹口哨把他的狗叫回來。
ole (int.) 好極了！
not a penny to my name 我一毛錢都沒有
這是一種比較詼諧的說法，不直接表示我沒有錢，而是用「我名下一毛錢都沒有」來表達。
