什麼是Hang (6 Phrasal Verbs with HANG: hang on, hang up, hang out…)
1. Hang out：出去玩；消磨時間；到外面晃晃
“Hang out” 是超級普遍的英文俚語，在用英語對話中常常會出現 “Where do you hang out?” 還有 “I don’t feel like hanging out tonight” 的句子。”Hang out” 最酷的一點就是可以把它想像為「把自己拿到外面晾一下」，就像衣服可以 “hang it out to dry”，人也可以拿出去透透氣，如果有機會與喜歡的人在一起就更高興了！
另外，“Hangout” 是名詞，也就是會去玩的地方。Google推出了新功能，就也叫做 “Hangouts”！你有用過嗎？讓影片解釋一下它名字跟「會去玩的地方」有什麼關聯吧：

2. Hang up：掛起；掛斷電話；掛上話筒
“Hang up” 的解釋很簡單，如果是把一個東西往上掛就是 “hang it up”。也普遍的代表掛上電話的意思。如果看過老電影中的人講電話，看到固定在牆上笨重的電話與需要兩隻手拿的聽筒與對講器，就很容易了解為什麼掛電話是 “hang up the phone”。
3. Hang in there：繼續下去；堅持下去；撐下去
“Hang in there” 是鼓勵做事情時不要放棄的意思。用創意性的視覺去幻想的話，可以想像是在攀岩一樣，目標是上面，如果累的話不能放手，還是要用點力氣，繼續把自己給支撐著。不過當然，你也可以自己放手，像 Olaf一樣喊出 “Hang in there!” 叫別人繼續撐著：
4. Hang on：抓住；等一下
“Hang on” 與 “hold on” 有七分的相似，只是比較不正式。如果是與客戶講話最好說 “Hold on a moment please”，與比較熟的人就可以說“hang on”。
5. Hang on someone’s every word：非常的注意一個人所講的話
如果你在講話時，有人“hangs on your every word” 就表示他很在意你，所以你說什麼都相信。也有暗示一個人過度的依賴另外一個人的意思，單純的認為他講的話完全是正確的。
6. Hang _____ 逛來逛去；留在附近；閑蕩；在附近徘徊
