Bolt 衝出;快速離開
e.g., Rick bolted out of the room in a rage.
Rick怒氣沖沖地從房裡奔出。
Rush 衝;奔向
e.g., I rushed ( = dash ) back home just to see if you’re okay!
我衝回家為了確定你還好嗎!
補充:rush hour=上下班尖峰期/尖峰時刻
e.g., It is rush hour now. I don’t want to get stuck in a traffic jam.
現在是尖峰時間,我可不想被卡在車陣裡。
Sprint 奮力衝刺
e.g., Carl began to sprint on the last two laps!
Carl在最後兩圈時開始奮力衝刺了!
Chase 追趕
e.g., The children are chasing one another among the bushes.
這些孩子們在樹叢中相互追逐。
補充:chase也有追求及驅逐的意思哦!
e.g., John is always chasing women who don’t even look at him.
John總愛追求那些連一眼都不看他的女人。
e.g., He chased the dog out of the garden.
他把一隻狗驅趕出花園。

Tiptoe 躡手躡腳地走/踮起腳走;腳尖
e.g., He tiptoed quietly down the stairs.
= He quietly walked down the stairs on tiptoe.
他躡手躡腳安靜地下樓。
Stroll 散步
e.g., My father used to stroll in the garden after dinner.
我的父親習慣晚飯後在花園散步。
Zigzag 東倒西歪的走(像字母Z一樣)
e.g., I saw Glenn zigzagging alone in the park the other day.
有天我看到Glenn一個人在公園東倒西歪的走來走去。
Toddle (幼兒等)東倒西歪地走
e.g., Before the age of three, the twins managed to toddle in the playground.
這對雙胞胎還不到三歲時就在遊樂區蹣跚地走路了。
補充:學步的小孩/步履蹣跚的人 = toddler
Stride 邁大步地走
e.g., He strides into the meeting room with great confidence every day.
每天他總是很有自信地邁步走進會議室。

Pace 踱步

e.g., The bear tromped through the forest on his big feet.
這隻熊大步地穿越森林。
Trek 艱苦跋涉
e.g., It took Daryl and I ten days to trek to the top of the mountain.
我和Daryl花了十天才跋涉到山頂。
Sneak 偷偷地走
e.g., How did you sneak out of the party?
你是如何偷溜出派對的?

Wander 漫遊;徘徊
e.g., The poet wanted to wander in the woods on his own.

Drift 漂泊;遊蕩
e.g., I don’t care if we’re drifting! At least we’re heading somewhere.
我才不在乎我們是不是到處漂泊!至少我們正在往某個方向前進。
Linger 徘迴逗留
e.g., Hershel lingered for a moment in a bar after work.
Hershel下班後在酒吧逗留了一會兒。
