例句：It’s time to put an end to the conflict. 結束衝突的時間到了。
He attempted to find a peaceful solution to the conflict. 他嘗試找出能和平的解決衝突的方法。

Rebel
n. adj. v.
The spokesman confirmed that the area was now in rebel (n.) hands. 發言人證實該區域已經落入叛亂份子手中。
當 rebel 是指反對的人時，可能指涉的是什麼樣的人呢？
首先，有可能是軍事上，「fighting between rebels and government forces」指的就是反叛軍跟政府軍隊的戰爭。
另外，也有可能是指政治上的對立，「The rebels want another 1% cut in interest rates.」這句話中的 rebel 指得便是政黨中的反對派。
