Too, Also, Either三種 「也」別再搞混!快來看看差別在哪!

Too, Also, Either 三個字都是「也」的意思,但他們放的位置、放入的句子卻不盡相同,在開始前,先用四個題目測試自己會不會吧!

1.Adam loves to stay at home. Susan loves to stay at home, ____.

2.Adam loves to stay at home. Susan ____ loves to stay at home.

3.Adam does not like to stay at home. Susan does not, ______.

4. Adam will stay at home tomorrow. Susan will ____ stay at home tomorrow.

Too

位置: 置於句尾
放入肯定句

e.g.:

1.句尾: Daniel is a doctor. Paul is a doctor, too.
2.句尾: Amy can speak fluent English. Rose can speak fluent English too.
3.句尾: Frank studies hard. Sam studies hard, too.
(三者皆為肯定句)

Also

位置: 置於be動詞、助動詞後面,一般動詞前面
放入肯定句

 e.g.:

1.be動詞前: Daniel is a doctor. Paul is also a doctor.
2.助動詞後、一般動詞前: Amy can speak fluent English. Rose can also speak fluent English.
3.一般動詞前: Frank studies hard. Sam also studies hard.
(三者皆為肯定句)

Either

位置: 置於句尾
放入否定句

 e.g.:

3.句尾: Frank does not study hard. Sam does not study hard, either.
(三者皆為否定句)
