預告片 teaser / trailer
這兩個詞都有預告片的意思，teaser 偏向跟大眾介紹「接下來有這部電影喔！」的宣傳短片；trailer 則是包含電影片段鏡頭的影片，通常會有數分鐘。
A: Have you seen the trailer of “Suicide Squad”? It’s amazing!
B: I love it too!
A：你看過《自殺突擊隊》的預告片了嗎？超棒的！
B：我也超喜歡的！

這個字和 script 意思相當接近，script 常用於「手稿」，screenplay 則常指「電影劇本」。

導演 director
director 這個詞代表的職位不少，除了導演之外還有指揮、總監和負責人等等意思喔！

台灣導演李安以《少年 Pi 的奇幻漂流》拿下他的第二座奧斯卡。
主演 star
I saw an awesome movie starring Brad Pitt when I was little, but I can’t recall what it was.

客串 cameo
Mary and I didn’t realize Johnny Depp had played a cameo role in that film until we read a review about it.

臨時演員 extra / walk-on(s)
